DIG East Zone Reviews Security Arrangements for Muharram

Karachi: The Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of East Zone, Dr. Farukh Ali, conducted an extensive security review in districts Karachi and Malir in preparation for Muharram-ul-Haram. Accompanied by the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Karachi, DIG Ali visited various significant religious sites, including Jamia Al-Faruqiya Shah Fahisil and Imam Bargahs like Husaini Mission, to assess the security measures in place.

During his visit, DIG Ali engaged with the administrators of Jamia Al-Faruqiya and other Imam Bargahs to discuss their security concerns. He emphasized to the police officers present that all issues should be addressed promptly to ensure the safety of the congregation.

Continuing his tour, DIG Ali, alongside SSP Malir and Rangers officials, inspected Imam Bargah Jafar Tayyar, Imam Bargah Mohammadi Dehra, Imam Bargah Imamia F South Malir, and additional Imam Bargahs. He reiterated the importance of resolving security matters immediately, ensuring that all facilities are adequately protected.

Throughout the tour, DIG Ali carefully reviewed all security arrangements and issued necessary directives to the relevant authorities regarding safety measures for the upcoming Muharram observances.
