High-Level Meeting on Muharram Traffic Arrangements Held in Karachi

Karachi: Under the chairmanship of the DIG Traffic, a high-level meeting was convened in the Conference Hall Auditorium to discuss traffic arrangements for Muharram-ul-Haram 1447H. The meeting was attended by all SSPs of Traffic Karachi, DSP Operations/Security Syed Ahmed, DSP Traffic Legal Muhammad Tufail, esteemed scholars from Fiqh Jafariya, organizers of processions and gatherings, as well as other senior officials.

The participants conducted a comprehensive review of important issues concerning traffic arrangements during Muharram, including road repairs and encroachment. The scholars and organizers expressed satisfaction with previous arrangements and presented several suggestions, which were attentively noted by the DIG Traffic, who assured them of addressing the identified problems.

The DIG Traffic directed the concerned authorities and staff to prioritize the resolution of all issues. Emphasis was placed on determining alternative traffic routes for processions and enhancing traffic management effectiveness.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the DIG Traffic thanked all participants and reaffirmed the full support of the traffic police for the successful conduct of events during this significant time.
