Arts Council of Pakistan Karachi’s Musicians Shine at the “Ubumuntu Arts Festival 2025” in Rwanda

Karachi: The Arts Council of Pakistan Karachi made a significant impact at the “Ubumuntu Arts Festival 2025” held in Rwanda, where directors and musicians from the Arts Council Music Academy showcased powerful performances that captivated international audiences.

Renowned Pakistani artists, including Arman Rahim, Ahsan Bari, Jahanzeb Shah (Gizri), Mustafa Baloch, and Umesh Ladhan, delivered a dramatic musical presentation titled “The Loudest Whisper.” This performance poignantly addressed the global silence surrounding the massacres of innocent people in regions such as Pakistan, Kashmir, and Rwanda. It emphasized the world's disturbing indifference to such atrocities and received widespread acclaim at the international festival. Curated by the cultural troupe of the Arts Council, the performance was praised for its emotional depth and global relevance, using music as a universal language to advocate for peace and cultural harmony. The Ubumuntu Arts Festival 2025 featured participants from over 12 countries, including the USA, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, South Africa, Congo, Kenya, Nigeria, Tanzania, Uganda, France, the Netherlands, the DRC, Burundi, Rwanda, Nepal, and Zimbabwe. Representing Pakistan at the event were Music Academy Director and acclaimed vocalist Arman Rahim, singer Ahsan Bari, Jahanzeb Ali Shah (Gizri), Mustafa Baloch, and the Deputy Director of Academies, Umesh Ladhani. Their participation highlighted Pakistan's commitment to using the arts to foster cross-cultural dialogue and mutual understanding through the universal language of music.
