Delegation from Karachi Bar Association Meets Deputy Mayor Karachi

Karachi: On Monday, a delegation of lawyers from the Karachi Bar Association (KBA), led by General Secretary Ghulam Rehman Korai, met with Deputy Mayor Karachi Salman Abdullah Murad at his office. The meeting focused on several pressing issues, including cleanliness around the City Court, parking problems, and the presence of stray dogs.

The delegation expressed concerns regarding the inadequate cleanliness around the City Court, which affects both lawyers and visitors. They also highlighted the lack of parking spaces and the hazards posed by stray dogs to citizens.

Deputy Mayor Salman Abdullah Murad assured the delegation that these issues would be addressed, emphasizing that the City Court is a vital judicial location. He stated that improving facilities for both citizens and lawyers is a top priority for the Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC). He promised that the relevant departments would be instructed to take immediate action, with effective measures to enhance cleanliness, parking arrangements, and address the stray dog issue.

The delegation thanked the Deputy Mayor for his commitment to cooperating in resolving their concerns.
