Free Parking Announced on 32 Sites Across Karachi Starting July 1, 2025

Karachi: The Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC) is pleased to announce that, following an announcement by Mayor Barrister Murtaza Wahab, parking fees will be waived at 32 designated KMC-managed parking sites across the city. This initiative aims to provide financial relief and improve convenience for the citizens of Karachi.

The decision will take effect on July 1, 2025, and applies to the following locations:

Free Parking Locations: - **District East:** - Fariya Mobile - Raza Mobile, Rashid Minhas Road (Al-Ghafoor to Firdous Shopping Mall) - KDA Market (Gulshan Flyover to Disco Bakery, Allama Shabbir Ahmed Usmani Road) - Chase Value Centre, opposite Alladin Park - Rashid Minhas Road (Service Road) - From Mashriq Centre to Kareem Plaza - Sir Shah Suleman Road - From N.I.B.D Hospital to United King Bakery - Service Road, Shahrah-e-Faisal (Karsaz Flyover to Quaideen Flyover and return) - Al-Khaleej Tower to Kababjee (Service Road of Shaheed-e-Millat Road) - Service Road from Hardees to Chase-Up Jail Chowrangi

- Civic Centre: University Road & Sir Shah Suleman Road (Gate to DMC East Office)

- Imtiaz Store, Gulshan-e-Iqbal

- **District Central:** A.O. Clinic Parking, Nazimabad (Boundary Wall); Hydri Market Parking & Sunday Motorcycle Bazaar (Boundary Wall); In front of Nazimabad Driving License Branch (Boundary Wall)

- **District South:** Clifton Centre (Covered Area); Sassi Arcade Clifton (Covered Area); Paradise Centre Clifton (Covered Area); Polo Ground, Dr. Ziauddin Ahmed Road (Covered Area); Crystal Court Clifton (Covered Area); Plot Between Beach View Parking Clifton (Covered Area); Hyper Star Beach View Parking Clifton (Covered Area)

For compliance and enforcement, the Director of City Wardens at the KMC has been directed to assign wardens to these designated parking sites.
