Mayor of Karachi Meets Delegation from Karachi Union of Journalists

Karachi: A delegation from the Karachi Union of Journalists (KUJ), led by senior journalist Mazhar Abbas, met with Mayor of Karachi, Barrister Murtaza Wahab, at his office to discuss improvements for the city and ways to enhance media cooperation.

During the meeting, the delegation formally invited the mayor to the 75th Foundation Day celebrations of the Pakistan Federal Union of Journalists (PFUJ), which is scheduled for August 2 at Khaliq Dina Hall.

The discussion covered civic issues and the important role of the media in promoting transparency, public awareness, and civic responsibility. Mayor Murtaza Wahab praised the efforts of the journalist community, assured the delegation of his complete support, and confirmed his participation in the upcoming PFUJ event.

The visiting delegation also included prominent journalists Lala Asad Pathan, Liaquat Kashmiri, and Tahir Khan.
