Rotary Club Karachi and Sindh Police Unite in Battle Against Drug Abuse

Karachi: Marking a significant step in the fight against drug abuse, office bearers of Rotary Club Karachi recently visited the office of DIG South, Syed Asad Raza. The delegation was led by Club President Naila Masood, along with General Secretary Dr. Shafqat, Salman Waheed, and Shoaib Ali Khan, who held productive discussions with local law enforcement officials.


During the meeting, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between Sindh Police and the Rotary Club Karachi to cooperate on drug-related issues. The partnership aims to conduct awareness campaigns, seminars in educational institutions, public walks, and various community programs to educate people about the dangers of drug abuse. The awareness campaign will be officially launched on August 20, 2025. Both South Zone Police and the Rotary Club Karachi have pledged ongoing cooperation to make Karachi a healthier and drug-free city. This collaboration highlights the crucial role of community involvement in addressing social challenges, ensuring a safer future for all citizens.
