Karachi – The Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Traffic Police has conducted a comprehensive review of traffic management and safety measures ahead of the Ashura processions in the city. This inspection focused on assessing the deployment of traffic officers and personnel along the routes of various processions, particularly in close proximity to the main Imambargahs.
In an effort to ensure safety and facilitate smooth traffic flow during this significant memorial occasion, the DIG issued crucial instructions to police personnel and staff stationed at key locations across the city.
A total of 1,200 traffic officers and staff have been mobilized to effectively manage the organized traffic around the main processions and their accompanying routes. Officials emphasize their commitment to providing security for participants while ensuring that all necessary resources are utilized efficiently to maintain public safety throughout the event.
As Ashura approaches, the Traffic Police are focused on safeguarding the well-being of the community while honoring this important occasion.
