Shaheed Benazirabad – In a notable meeting that highlights the commitment to excellence within the Sindh Police, DIG Shaheed Benazirabad, Pervez Ahmed Chandio, recently met with Inspector General (IG) Sindh, Ghulam Nabi Memon, at the IG's office. This encounter was marked by a warm gesture, as DIG Chandio was honored with a traditional Sindhi cap, Ajrak, and an honorary shield, symbolizing the rich cultural heritage of Sindh.
During the meeting, IG Memon expressed his heartfelt congratulations to DIG Chandio for his successful tenure as the DIG of the SBA Range. He commended Chandio's operational achievements, which have significantly enhanced public safety, along with his dedication to welfare efforts, training initiatives, and exemplary public service.
The IG emphasized the importance of ongoing professional development, wishing DIG Chandio success in his upcoming participation in the National Security Course (NSC) at the National Defence University (NDU) in Islamabad. This course is a crucial step for officers aspiring to advance to senior ranks within the police force, including the prestigious position of Inspector General of Police (IGP).
This meeting not only reinforces the leadership's commitment to capacity building within the Sindh Police but also sets a precedent for future initiatives aimed at enhancing the effectiveness and professionalism of law enforcement in the region.
