FREEDOM IS A BLESSING WHOSE VALUE CAN NEVER BE OVERSTATED

KARACHI: Atif Iqbal, Chairman of RK Sports Management, and Rais Khan, Chief Executive, congratulated the nation on the occasion of the 78th Independence Day. They emphasized that freedom is a precious blessing whose value can never be fully appreciated. They expressed gratitude for the inspiring leadership of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah and the sacrifices of millions of Muslims, which have allowed us to live in an independent state today.

Over the past 78 years, while progress has been made in various sectors, the field of sports in the country has also seen remarkable advancements. "We salute our heroes who have brought glory to the nation in sports," they stated. In their Independence Day message, Atif Iqbal and Rais Khan highlighted the importance of valuing freedom as a duty for all citizens. They urged everyone to set aside differences and commit to the country’s development. They reiterated that fulfilling the purpose for which Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah and other founding leaders established this country is a responsibility we all share.

They noted that in these 78 years, while the country has excelled in many areas, the achievements in sports cannot be overlooked. Pakistan has gained recognition as a world champion in cricket, hockey, squash, and snooker, and has won gold medals and other honors at the Olympic Games. Furthermore, athletes in various sports have proudly represented the green crescent flag across the globe.

As they congratulated the nation on Independence Day, Atif Iqbal and Rais Khan called for a pledge to make any necessary sacrifices for the prosperity and development of the country.
