French Consul General Visits Pakistan Red Crescent Sindh Headquarters in Karachi

Karachi: The Consul General of France, Mr. Alexis, was warmly welcomed at the Pakistan Red Crescent Society (PRCS) Sindh headquarters during his recent visit. Sindh Branch Chairman Muhammad Rehan Hashmi and Provincial Secretary Kanwar Waseem briefed him on ongoing humanitarian programs, including emergency response training and disaster management across Sindh.

The Consul General watched a presentation and documentary highlighting PRCS’s efforts, expressing admiration for their community impact. Mr. Hashmi offered free first aid and life-saving training to the French Consulate staff and discussed plans to train more youth across Sindh.

The visit ended with a tour of the Red Crescent Training Institute’s diverse courses. Notable attendees included former Environment Minister Noman Saigal, journalist Dr. Zaigham, and industrialist Naseem Naqvi. Vice Chairman Mr. Jafri gifted Mr. Alexis a book on Pakistan-France cultural ties. This engagement strengthens humanitarian collaboration between Pakistan and France, promising deeper future cooperation to benefit Sindh’s communities.
