Karachi: In a timely appeal ahead of the Independence Day celebrations, DIG East Zone Dr. Farukh Ali has called on citizens to commemorate the occasion with peace and respect for the law. He emphasized the importance of refraining from unsafe and illegal activities, particularly aerial firing, which has historically led to tragic accidents.
Dr. Farukh Ali highlighted that strict legal action, including potential murder charges, would be pursued against anyone found violating these regulations. "We want everyone to enjoy this special day, but it must be done safely," he stated during a press briefing.
The DIG urged the community to act responsibly and support law enforcement efforts to ensure the celebrations are safe and joyful. He reminded citizens that cooperation with the police is essential in creating an atmosphere of security and happiness during this national holiday.
As Independence Day approaches, the call for a peaceful celebration resonates strongly within the community, reinforcing a commitment to celebrating while prioritizing the safety of every individual.
