Karachi: The second day of the Naveena Steel Junior National Padel Championship 2025 brought thrilling matches to the courts at Maidan Karachi. Organized by the Pakistan Padel Federation and under the auspices of the International Padel Federation and Padel Asia, this event is a showcase for young talents from across the country, with participants competing in three age categories: Under-14, Under-16, and Under-18 for boys.
In the Under-14 category, the competition intensified as four teams advanced to the semi-finals. The Sindh Vikings demonstrated their prowess with a commanding straight-set victory over the Sindh Warriors, winning 2-0. They were closely followed by Sindh Shaheen, who also emerged victorious against the Sindh Titans with a similar scoreline of 2-0. Furthermore, Sindh Allawala displayed remarkable skills to outclass the Sindh Padel Smashers, finishing their match with a decisive 2-0 score. Lastly, Sindh H&A secured the final semi-final spot with a solid 2-0 victory over Sindh Arshan.
The Under-18 category mirrored the excitement with impressive performances. KPK Team dominated the court, overpowering the Sindh Friends with a score of 2-0. Meanwhile, the Sindh Legends continued their winning streak against Sindh Ayan, also concluding with a 2-0 victory. Sindh TTF joined them in the semi-finals, defeating Islamabad by the same score. The fourth quarterfinal match in this category is scheduled to be played later today, promising more thrilling action.
In the Under-16 category, matches showcased a mix of individual brilliance and strategic teamwork. Sindh A&R comfortably bested Sindh Said with a score of 6-1. The match between Sindh Arshan and Sindh Double Fault proved to be more competitive, with Sindh Arshan edging past their opponents 7-5. Sindh Formula continued the trend of strong performances by defeating Islamabad 6-2, while Sindh Acer rounded off the day's results with an emphatic 6-1 win over Sindh Babo. The quarterfinals in the Under-16 category are set to take place tonight, further elevating the excitement.
