New German Consul General Thomas Eberhard Schulz Takes Charge in Karachi

Karachi: Thomas Eberhard Schulz, the newly appointed Consul General of the Federal Republic of Germany, has officially assumed his post in Karachi. After taking office, Consul General Schulz met with Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah and Governor Muhammad Kamran Tessori to discuss mutual interests and opportunities for cooperation.

He also held discussions with representatives from the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) to explore ways to enhance trade relations between Pakistan and Germany. Thomas Eberhard Schulz is a seasoned German diplomat with extensive experience in international relations. Before his role in Karachi, he served as the German Consul General in Toronto, Canada, and as Germany’s Ambassador to Croatia. He has also held significant positions within the German Foreign Ministry, including leading sectors on visa regulations and administrative judicial affairs. Under Consul General Schulz’s leadership, the German Consulate in Karachi is dedicated to strengthening economic, cultural, and diplomatic ties between Pakistan and Germany.
