Iqra University Clinches Title in Maarka-e-Haq Jashn-e-Azadi 2025 Inter-University Basketball Tournament

  Karachi: The spectacular “Maarka-e-Haq Jashn-e-Azadi” Iqra Inter-University Basketball Tournament 2025 was inaugurated at Iqra University’s main campus. The tournament was officially opened by Dr. Shiraz-ul-Hassan Mohani, Sports Director of Iqra University, accompanied by Registrar Aseem Majid, Head of Student Support Services Ms. Abeer Javed Syed, Sports Coordinator Rahmat Jan, Sports Officer Furqan Raza, organizers Azeem-ul-Shan, Irtsam Rasool, Sir Majid, Kashif Ahmed Farooqi, Shah Rukh Khan, Muhammad Rafiq, Shah Mir, Ms. Afsha Fatima, and others.

Iqra University Vice Chancellor Dr. Nasr Akram stated that the university focuses on both academics and sports and provides students with 100% scholarships. In the thrilling final match of the tournament, Iqra University defeated Dening Law University 30-22 to claim the first position. Dening Law University, led by Captain Ruhan Khan, secured second place.

At the end of the event, Vice Chancellor Dr. Nasr Akram distributed awards to the players.
