Successful and Important Meeting of the Education Reforms Committee at Sir Syed University

Karachi: A successful and important meeting of the Education Reforms Committee was held at Sir Syed University of Engineering and Technology (SSUET), where detailed consultations were conducted regarding improvements in Pakistan’s education system, opportunities for the youth, and the upcoming EduTech Reforms Summit 2025


A highlight of the meeting was the participation of Muhammad Akbar Ali Khan, Chancellor of Sir Syed University, who was presented with an honorary shield by the Education Reforms Committee in recognition of his mission to promote education and his scholarly contributions. He also pledged lifelong cooperation with the committee.

The coordinator of the Prime Minister Youth Program, Fahad Shafiq, also attended the meeting and assured full participation in the upcoming summit.

Dr. Kashif Ikram, Pro Vice Chancellor of Baqai University, announced that he would join the academic policy-making process and become a formal member of the Education Reforms Committee.



Chairman of Sir Syed University, Mr. Kashif Sheikh, along with Ismail Qamar and Sanaullah Memon, also declared their support for the committee. The presence of Registrar SSUET, Commander (R) Engineer Syed Sarfaraz Ali, made the meeting even more meaningful.

The session included participation and interest in collaboration from Momal Mirza, Zakir Tajamul, Saba, Amna Sharq, Lala Rukh, Rohan, Adeel Bukhari, Shaan Qamar, and Ali Raza.

Special thanks were extended to Mr. Riaz-ul-Haq for organizing this important session.

Under the leadership of Sadaf Bhatti, the new team of the Education Reforms Committee is now fully prepared and determined to make the EduTech Reforms Summit 2025 a grand and effective educational milestone.

Finally, thanks were given to the committee’s focal person Hassan Siddiqui and the social media team Anq Siddiqui and Amna Altaf, who played a key role in timely delivering all updates.
