Benazir Bhutto Human Resources Board Collaborates with BISP for Skill Development in Sindh

Karachi. In an initiative aimed at enhancing economic opportunities for marginalized communities, the Benazir Bhutto Shaheed Human Resources Research and Development Board (BBSHRRDB) has announced a collaboration with the Benazir Income Support Program (BISP). This partnership is set to provide skill training and employment opportunities for BISP beneficiaries and their families throughout Sindh.

During a recent meeting held in Karachi, key officials discussed the framework for upcoming training programs. The meeting included the Director General (CT), Dr. Inam ur Rehman, Director General Sindh Zulfiqar Ali Shaikh, and Outreach Consultant Naveed Khan, who together reviewed the strategic objectives of the collaboration. BBSHRRDB Secretary Munwar Ali Mithani showcased the board’s achievements along with their future plans aimed at skills enhancement.

The initiative is expected to target approximately 3,000 beneficiaries of the BISP, with a focus on equipping them with technical skills that will significantly improve their economic standing. This program particularly aims to uplift low-income and marginalized communities, empowering the youth with practical skills essential for self-reliance. The meeting was further bolstered by the presence of Technical Committee Chairman Dr. Islam Hamid, along with Regional Consultants Engr. Taimur Ali and Muhammad Suleman Dashti, all of whom expressed their support for the initiative.
As the program unfolds, it is anticipated that these efforts will create lasting impacts on the livelihoods of families involved, promoting sustainable development and economic independence in the region.
