In a memorable gathering held at the Cameroon Consulate, the Pakistan-Cameroon Friendship Society celebrated Defense Day, bringing together diplomats, politicians, and prominent figures from Karachi’s social and business circles. The event beautifully intertwined the themes of remembrance and camaraderie, emphasizing the enduring friendship between Pakistan and Cameroon against the backdrop of a significant national observance.

The ceremony, characterized by its thoughtful arrangements, highlighted a cake-cutting ritual that has become a staple at diplomatic events. This simple yet profound act added an element of festivity and solidarity to the somber occasion. Among the distinguished attendees was Mohammad Ilkhlaq, Deputy High Commissioner of Bangladesh, whose presence underscored the importance of regional ties. Other diplomatic representatives, including Ishtiaq Baig, Consul General of Morocco, and Zia Ahmed Khan, Consul General of Guinea, joined him.
