Karachi: The Institute of Holistic Rehabilitation and Inclusion (IHRI) held a meaningful Certificate Distribution Ceremony at the DHACSS SKBZ Campus Auditorium, celebrating the dedication of teachers from the DHA who have successfully completed IHRI’s specialized training programs. The event also recognized the contributions of Student Brand Ambassadors who have played a vital role in advocating for inclusion and empowerment within the community.
Special acknowledgments were made to Brigadier Muhammad Younas SI(M) (Retd), Executive Director of Education, and Ms. Fauzia Naseeb, Principal of DHACSS, for their unwavering support in facilitating the program’s success.
In another relevant development concerning Karachi’s residents, concerns have arisen regarding NEPRA's recent decisions. Critics argue that NEPRA has unjustly shifted the burden of K-Electric’s shortcomings onto honest consumers, causing significant financial strain across residential, commercial, and industrial sectors.
Former MQM Pakistan leader Siddiqui condemned NEPRA’s actions as “collective punishment” and a “gross injustice,” asserting that it threatens to stall Karachi’s economy. He emphasized that NEPRA's move overstepped its legal boundaries and eroded public trust, vowing to continue the legal battle to protect the rights of the city’s residents.
As the community rallies for change both in educational empowerment and consumer rights, the outcomes of these efforts will be pivotal for Karachi’s future.
