Karachi, The highly anticipated 9th Students Olympic Games 2025 were officially inaugurated on September 15 at the KMC Sports Complex, with events scheduled to run until September 30. This year’s Games promise to be a grand celebration of talent and sportsmanship, featuring athletes from over 500 institutions competing in 24 different sports.

The Games cater to a wide range of age groups, inviting young competitors from 4 to 5 years old to university-level participants.

The categories are as follows:

Age Groups: 4-5 years, 6-8 years, O-Metric Level, Intermediate /A Levels, University & Open levels

- **Participating Sports:** Athletics, Archery, Badminton, Basketball, Cycling, Chess, Catchball, Dodgeball, Cricket, Futsal, Fitness, Gymnastics, Handball, Hockey, Netball, Padel, Pickleball, Rope Skipping, Skating, Throwball, Tug Of War, Taekwondo, Table Tennis, and Volleyball.

**Opening Ceremony:**

The opening ceremony was graced by esteemed guests, including Mr. Abdul Wahan, Chairman of Burrak Sports UAE, and Maqbool Arain, President of the Pakistan Students Olympic Association. The atmosphere at the KMC Sports Complex was vibrant, filled with colorful balloons and an enthusiastic crowd of spectators.
