Karachi: Inclusive Destiny, an emerging startup from NIC Cohort 13, is excited to announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Khudi Foundation, led by Ms. Sarwat Nasim Shah, Chairperson of the Khudi Foundation and Managing Director of Zaamin Builders. This significant milestone was celebrated at NIC Karachi, where an angel investment was also announced in memory of the late Zubeida Mustafa, whose vision and encouragement continue to inspire Inclusive Destiny's mission.
The event featured Mr. Syed Azfar Hussain, Project Director at NIC, whose support and leadership have been crucial in fostering a supportive ecosystem for startups like Inclusive Destiny. His presence underscored NIC’s ongoing commitment to empowering entrepreneurs, particularly those dedicated to social impact and inclusivity.
Advisors and community mentors played a vital role in this journey. Dr. Badar Sami has been serving as an advisor, while Sundus Haseeb and Wajiha Adeel provide invaluable insights as community advisors. From the core team, Adeel Raja, Pakistan's first visually impaired software engineer and founder-entrepreneur, along with Aleena Tariq, the Marketing Manager, represent Inclusive Destiny’s dedication and drive.
Inclusive Destiny proudly stands as the first NIC startup led by a visually impaired entrepreneur in Cohort 13, symbolizing resilience and innovation in Pakistan’s startup ecosystem. With this achievement, the team is now poised to launch Pakistan’s first Helper App platform for persons with disabilities, starting with the Inclusive Companion App. This groundbreaking initiative aims to tackle critical challenges related to mobility and accessibility, advancing progress toward the global Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
With the support of advisors, community partners, and a strong vision, Inclusive Destiny is committed to creating a future where accessibility is not just an aspiration but a reality.
