Rotary Club Karachi Intracity Celebrates Defence Day and Eid Milad-un-Nabi ﷺ with Distinguished Event

Karachi: The Rotary Club Karachi Intracity hosted a significant event on September 6th to commemorate both Defence Day and Eid Milad-un-Nabi ﷺ. The gathering took place under the inspirational leadership of Club President Nasim Shah and Secretary Muhammad Waseem, drawing notable figures from various sectors.

The ceremony featured esteemed personalities, including Mr. Jamal Akbar as the Chief Guest, and renowned poetess Ms. Naheed Azmi. Other prominent attendees included Rais Khan, Saleem Khan, Madam Khalida Saleem, and Afaq Ahmed, whose participation enriched the literary atmosphere of the occasion. The event was further enhanced by moving recitations from celebrated Naat Khuwans, fostering a spiritually uplifting environment.

In his address, President Nasim Shah paid homage to the nation's martyrs, remembering their sacrifices on Defence Day. He emphasized the enduring teachings of the Holy Prophet Muhammad ﷺ as a guiding light for society. Secretary Waseem reiterated the Rotary Club of Karachi Intracity's commitment to organizing such meaningful events, aimed at fostering unity, promoting spiritual reflection, and encouraging community service.
