A Conversation with Huma Kanwal on Her First Patriotic Song "Ae Shaheed-e-Watan"

  Karachi: Huma Kanwal officially stepped into the limelight with her first national anthem, "Ae Shaheed-e-Watan". This powerful tribute pays tribute to the brave heroes of Pakistan's armed forces who defend the nation.

In our conversation, Huma reflected on her musical journey, saying, "I had the privilege of learning singing from Ustad Mahmood Ali Khan of the Gwalior Gharana at the Arts Council of Pakistan Karachi Music Academy. It was an incredible experience that helped me improve my voice and express deep emotions."

She added, "Throughout my career, I had the opportunity to perform on Radio Pakistan and Pakistan Television, and I participated in the 'Main Karachi Hoon' initiative, as well as a fusion album featuring patriotic themes."
