Karachi: Beacon House International College (BIC) Karachi organized an awareness seminar on drug-related issues for students and faculty in collaboration with the Rotary Club of Karachi.
The chief guest, DIG South Syed Asad Raza, highlighted the growing trend of drug abuse and its social impact. During the event, the South Zone Police presented a detailed session on the harms of drugs and practical methods of prevention for teachers and students.
The speakers emphasized collective awareness to eradicate drugs from the society, which includes parental supervision and promotion of positive activities. The youth were urged to adopt a healthy lifestyle and stay away from negative substances.
The keynote speakers included Naila Masood, President of Rotary Club of Karachi, Ahmar Azam, CEO of Tri-Fit, Sanam Phatan, Head of Beacon House, and DIG South Syed Asad Raza.
The seminar concluded with a question-and-answer session for the students, where they raised various questions related to drugs. Shields were distributed among the participants.
The Rotary Club of Karachi and Beaconhouse International College announced that to will organize awareness sessions for parents in the future.
