Senior Traffic Officials and Transporters Meet to Improve Karachi Roads

  Karachi: A crucial meeting was held at the office of the DIG Traffic Karachi to discuss the city's traffic arrangements in detail. The meeting was attended by DSP Admin Traffic Kashif Nadeem, DSP Legal Traffic Muhammad Tufail, officials from All Karachi Transport Association, and Chingchi Rickshaw Association President Imran Zaidi.

A detailed briefing was given on the faceless and e-ticketing system, traffic laws, and the importance of clear number plates. Participants emphasized driver training to prevent passengers from sitting on rooftops, speeding, and violating traffic rules.

Strict instructions were issued to install GPS trackers in minibuses and coaches by October 27, while strict restrictions were also imposed on double parking and illegal parking.

Transporters assured full cooperation in the successful implementation of the system and driver training.
