Karachi: DIG South Asad Raza visited the Towel Manufacturing Association of Pakistan and met with senior officials, including Chairman Amir Hassan, Senior Vice Chairman Junaid ur Rehman, Vice Chairman Ayaz Khan, along with CEOs and directors of various companies. SSP Kemari was also present.
Asad Raza assured the business community that complaints will be addressed promptly and investigations will be conducted with full transparency. He added that the use of modern technology, such as CCTV cameras and mobile network monitoring systems, is being increased to catch criminals quickly.
The delegation praised the current police strategy and security arrangements, saying these steps have boosted the confidence of the business community. Both parties agreed to enhance police presence in markets, warehouses, and industrial areas to ensure a favorable environment for business.
Furthermore, a permanent liaison committee between the police and the business community will be formed to promptly address issues and facilitate their resolution.
DIG South also shared that efforts are ongoing to modernize and train the police force further to ensure the safety of citizens and traders in Karachi.
This meeting is being seen as a strong example of trust and cooperation between police and the private sector in improving security in Karachi.
