Grand Poetry Recital and Tribute Held in Memory of Renowned Poet and Jurist Fattah Malik

Karachi: A grand poetry recital and tribute ceremony was organized by the Sindh Adabi Sangat, Karachi chapter, at the Arts Council’s Gulrang Hall in memory of the esteemed poet, writer, and jurist Fattah Malik. The event was chaired by Naeem Sheikh, with Barrister Muhammad Sarfaraz Metlo serving as the chief guest.

Speakers at the event, including Dr. Adil Soomro, Lala Asad Pathan, Ayub Sheikh, Sarwar Samijo, Nisar Naz Ruk, and Fazal Kalhori, praised Fattah Malik as a progressive, enlightened, and selfless individual who made significant contributions to literature, law, and politics. They emphasized his role as a champion of social justice and public awareness.

The poetry recital featured memorable verses from Shahnavaz Ghoto, Waheed Mohsin, Gul Muhammad Mangi, Javed Iqbal, and several other poets. A large audience of lawyers, writers, poets, and professionals from various fields attended the event to honor the legacy of the late Fattah Malik.

The program served as an important platform to keep Fattah Malik’s legacy alive and to celebrate his remarkable contributions to society.
