Karachi: IG Sindh Ghulam Nabi Memon said during the inauguration of the Public Colony Police Station that another police station was inaugurated today by the Home Minister.
He stated that our goal is to improve the culture of police stations step by step. Various sessions were held to implement the Sindh government's vision, including improving the police station system.
Now, the budget reaches down to the SHO level. He informed that 31 police stations have been built across Sindh, with two crore rupees allocated for each. In the next phase, 40 more police stations will be completed.
IG Sindh said the driving license issuance system has also been improved, while the e-ticketing and camera system was a challenge that has now been fully implemented. Efforts continue to address security issues step by step.
The police budget has increased by 4 to 5 percent, and police health insurance has been introduced. In the next program, the Home Minister will be taken to visit more police stations, IG Sindh Ghulam Nabi Memon said.
These measures are important steps toward modernizing and making the Sindh Police more people-friendly, ensuring crime prevention and transparency.
