Major operation on intelligence tip-off by Garden Police, major fake currency gang arrested

Police in the Garden area of ​​District City have arrested the accused Behzad, who was involved in counterfeiting fake currency and dollars, in a major operation on an intelligence tip-off. Fake Pakistani notes, US dollars, fake joining orders of PIA and ANF, fake checks, plot papers, black paper, chemicals, and other items were recovered from the accused.

In this operation conducted by the Garden Police, the accused was told that he used to rob innocent citizens along with his accomplices. The accused used to provide fake joining orders by promising them jobs, while he was busy manufacturing fake currency for four years. The arrested accused’s accomplices are involved in medical rap and call center work.

The accused had prepared several dies to make the correct size of currency notes, and the fake notes were found stuffed in a bag. In addition, a large number of note-sized white papers were also found, which were used for counterfeiting.

DIG South has congratulated the SHO and his team and announced to award certificates of appreciation. A case has been registered against the accused Behzad, and further investigation is underway to break the entire network. This action is an important part of the efforts to curb the counterfeit currency business in Karachi, which is causing severe damage to the economy.
