Faceless Ticketing: A Game Changer for Karachi’s Traffic Discipline

Karachi: An important awareness program aimed at promoting traffic discipline and road safety was held at PC Hotel Karachi, organized by the Karachi Rotary Club. The event was hosted by President Ms. Naila Masood, Secretary Honorary Mr. Zoheer Ali Sharif, and Trustee of the Rotary Foundation Mr. Aziz Memon.



The highlight of the program was a presentation by the special guest, DIGP Traffic Karachi, who provided a comprehensive overview of the Karachi Traffic Police's recent initiatives, focusing particularly on the implementation of a faceless and e-ticketing system. He emphasized that this modern approach is set to be a pivotal development, enhancing transparency, convenience, and upholding the rule of law in traffic enforcement.


During his address, the DIGP acknowledged the ongoing efforts of the Karachi Traffic Police to improve road discipline, emphasizing the importance of collaboration with the community. He commended the Rotary Club Karachi for its initiative, asserting that such awareness programs play a crucial role in educating the public.


The event drew a substantial crowd, including numerous Rotary Club members and representatives from civil society. Attendees praised the initiatives by the Karachi Traffic Police and expressed their commitment to supporting the enforcement of road rules and fostering a culture of road safety.



Concluding the event, the Rotary Club honored the DIG Traffic Karachi with a commemorative shield in recognition of his efforts and dedication to enhancing traffic safety in the city.
