“Today we stand among artists whose talent speaks for itself. Organizing a festival of this scale is something only Ahmed Shah and his team can achieve. The World Culture Festival is presenting a positive image of Pakistan to the world. People eagerly anticipate every festival organized by the Arts Council, knowing they will witness something extraordinary. The Sindh government fully supports the Arts Council, and the international artists participating here are carrying back with them a message of peace and creativity.”
Arts Council President Muhammad Ahmed Shah highlighted the festival’s global significance, saying,
“The participation of international artists has elevated the prestige of our festival. This is the third art exhibition of the World Culture Festival, and we are welcoming artists from 28 countries. From film, music, and theatre to fine arts, this festival represents all dimensions of artistic expression. Our greatest pride lies in our alumni, who have brought recognition to the Arts Council around the world. Many of their teachers’ works are also featured in this exhibition. Our aim is to showcase Pakistan’s cultural vibrancy to the world through this festival.”
He further added:
“Bringing artists from 142 countries to Karachi is a landmark achievement. We want to establish Pakistan as a welcoming destination for people from across the world. Our major initiatives—such as the Urdu Conference, Theatre Festival, Music Festival, and Youth Festival—are creating global interest. Many international artists feel so connected to the atmosphere here that they do not want to leave. This is truly a proud moment for Pakistan.”
Esteemed artist Shahid Rassam also shared his thoughts, saying:
“Today, alongside four international artists, our faculty members and masters have presented their works. Ahmed Shah’s dedication is unparalleled. This exhibition is a tribute to our faculty. The Arts Council Institute of Arts and Crafts is Pakistan’s largest art school, and its students are now being recognized globally for their creativity.”
The exhibition “Piece & Pieces – Volume 3” served as a vibrant celebration of creativity, cultural exchange, and artistic excellence—adding another remarkable chapter to the ongoing World Culture Festival 2025.
