Pakistani Fashion, Jewellery and Beauty Industry Witnessing Rapid Growth: Experts

  Karachi: The fashion, jewellery, and beauty sectors in Pakistan are experiencing an unprecedented surge, according to leading industry professionals. Notable figures, including Zufaha’s Shoukat Dada, Image Jewellery’s designer Junaid Iqbal, Fashion Zone’s Taj and Shahbaz Ali, Amna & Sana’s Sana Muzammil, Brand K’s Kulsum Yousuf, and Seemi Beauty Salon’s Seemi Khan, voiced their insights during the concluding ceremony of the SRF Fashion Show.

The experts highlighted that Pakistan’s fashion designers and beauty creators are gaining global recognition, fostering a growing international demand for Pakistani apparel, jewellery, and makeup artistry. “People want to look good, and for that, quality clothing, jewellery, and makeup play an essential role,” they emphasized.

They underscored the importance of fashion shows as vital platforms to display their creative talents and connect with the public. “Pakistan's fashion industry is advancing swiftly, and there is significant international demand for our outfits, jewellery, and makeup artists,” they stated.

Moreover, the industry leaders stressed the critical need for robust government support. They argued that official recognition and encouragement are key factors for the sector’s growth. “With proper government patronage, these fields can contribute substantial foreign exchange to the national economy,” they concluded, echoing a sentiment for stronger collaboration between the government and the fashion industry.
