SRF Pakistan Style Runway Fashion Season 17 Shines at DHA Creek Club

  Karachi: The much-anticipated SRF Pakistan Style Runway Fashion Show Season 17 took place with resounding success at the prestigious DHA Creek Club in Karachi. Organized by the distinguished fashion coordinator Zia Zafar, this event marks yet another milestone in SRF’s 17-year journey dedicated to promoting Pakistan’s dynamic fashion industry and spotlighting emerging talent.

The runway came alive as top female models and actors, including Sadia Imam, Mathira, Benita David, Feroza Muhammad, Sidra Sajid, and Yumna Irfan, showcased breathtaking performances. The male contingent, featuring prominent names such as Taqi Ahmed, Fuzaan Khan, Shoaib Hassan, Yawar Inam, Adil Khan, Ahmed Aadi, and Waqas Ali, delivered equally impressive presentations, captivating the audience.

The event’s official jewellery partner, Image Jewellers by Junaid Iqbal, added an extra touch of elegance, while Seemi Beauty Salon efficiently managed the backstage makeup, complemented by Axe Men Salon's meticulous grooming for the male models.

SRF17 displayed an exquisite array of fashion collections from prominent designers, including Zufaha, Fashion Zone, Amna & Sana, Rivaj Men’s Wear, and K. Yousuf, featuring an impressive variety of bridal and formal wear.

During his address to the audience, Zia Zafar, CEO of SRF Pakistan and Chief Organizer, emphasized the significance of teamwork in achieving this success. “For the past 17 years, we have organized SRF shows with a commitment to promoting designers and models. The rapid growth of Pakistan’s fashion industry is evident, and events like these create invaluable opportunities for new talent,” he stated.

Actress and model Sadia Imam expressed her support for the continuation of such events, stating, “Karachi is my city, and I want to see its charm and cultural vibrancy return. Fashion shows not only support the industry but also help revive the spirit of the city.”

Model Benita David also lauded SRF, recognizing it as a credible name in fashion events that consistently encourages models and designers alike.

The show was attended by a host of notable figures, including Rais Khan, Chief Executive of RK Media PR, the official media partner for SRF17.

To further elevate the evening’s ambiance, the talented singer Misha Qasim enchanted attendees with her soulful musical performance, leaving a lasting impression on the audience.

As the event concluded, the applause and appreciation from the fashion community underscored SRF Pakistan’s position as a leading force within the nation's burgeoning fashion landscape.
