KARACHI: The United Arab Emirates proudly celebrated its 54th National Day on December 2, marking the historic unification of its seven emirates in 1971. Dr. Bakheet Ateeq Al Remeithi, the UAE Consul General in Karachi, conveyed heartfelt greetings to both the Pakistani populace and the expatriate community from the UAE, emphasizing the occasion's importance.
In his message, Dr. Al Remeithi described the day, known officially as Eid Al Etihad or the “Festival of the Union,” as a moment to honor national unity, progress, and the UAE's steadfast commitment to peace and prosperity. “This day reflects our nation’s unity, progress, and unwavering commitment to peace and prosperity,” he stated.
The Consul General highlighted the enduring relationship between the UAE and Pakistan, speaking to the depth of their fraternal ties and the aspiration for continued collaboration and mutual development. “The UAE and Pakistan share deep-rooted brotherly relations, and we look forward to continuing our journey of friendship, cooperation, and shared growth,” he expressed.
