Addressing a large gathering of leaders and members of the Christian community, the governor announced that a grand Christmas celebration would be held at the Governor House on December 25, inviting widespread participation. He said the Quaid-e-Azam’s vision guarantees freedom for all minorities to celebrate their religious and cultural festivals with dignity and without fear.
Governor Tesori also highlighted what he described as Pakistan’s recent diplomatic successes, crediting the leadership of Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir for enhancing the country’s international standing. He said Pakistan’s growing diplomatic influence has been acknowledged globally, while India has been left behind. Referring to the regional situation, he stated that the developments of May 10 demonstrated Pakistan’s resilience in the face of what he termed India-sponsored terrorism aimed at disrupting economic progress.
Calling upon citizens to play a positive role, the governor urged the public to promote Pakistan’s development and achievements on social media. He also spoke about challenges such as extortion threats originating from Iran and terrorism from Afghanistan, noting that Interpol has been informed and that traders and industrialists are becoming increasingly aware of these issues.
On the occasion, Governor Tesori presented a shield and a cash award to Muhammad Shafi in recognition of his outstanding performance in the Larkana Board of Secondary Education examinations.
Responding to questions from the media, the governor called on former Prime Minister Imran Khan to account for his first four and a half years in office. He made allegations regarding financial irregularities and claimed that the facts surrounding certain matters would come to light if accountability were ensured.
Praising the professionalism of the country’s leadership, the governor said it has succeeded in uniting the nation while isolating its adversaries. He expressed optimism that Pakistan’s diplomatic achievements would have positive economic repercussions and further strengthen the country’s position on the global stage.
The event combined festive celebrations with strong political and diplomatic messaging, reflecting the government’s narrative of national unity, resilience, and progress.
