Karachi: The Consulate General of Indonesia in Karachi made a notable entry at the 7th International Consumer Products Fair (ICPF) 2025, which took place from December 11 to 14 at the Expo Centre Karachi. Hosted by Ecommerce Gateway Pakistan, the fair has established itself as one of the key trade events in Sindh, serving as a vital platform for business promotion, international networking, and cultural exchange.The Indonesian Pavilion was officially inaugurated on December 11, 2025, in a ceremony attended by diplomats, industry leaders, and esteemed guests. The Indonesian delegation, led by H.E. Mudzakir, M.A., Consul General of Indonesia in Karachi, included Mr. Dewanto Priyokusomo, Head of Chancery, and Dr. Ahmad Syofian, Consul for Economy. Their participation highlighted Indonesia’s dedication to enhancing bilateral trade and showcasing a variety of high-quality Indonesian products to the Pakistani market.
The fair featured 11 Indonesian exporters presenting a diverse array of consumer products, underscoring Indonesia’s commitment to building enduring business partnerships in Pakistan. The Consul General reiterated the complementary strengths of both economies and noted that the Joint Statement from the State Visit encourages enhanced cooperation, expanded supply chain opportunities, and broader commercial engagement.
During his address, Consul General Mudzakir emphasized the pivotal role of ICPF 2025 in strengthening economic relations between Indonesia and Pakistan, particularly following the recent State Visit of President Prabowo Subianto to Islamabad. He remarked that renewed commitments by both nations have paved the way for increased trade, investment opportunities, and business-to-business collaborations.
Appreciating the organizers, Consul General Mudzakir expressed optimism about the potential for new partnerships arising from the interactions at ICPF 2025, which he believes will contribute to bolstering bilateral relations.
The Indonesian Pavilion, located in the Foyer Area of Hall 06, showcased 11 distinguished Indonesian companies, including PT Agrisindo Bumitama Indonesia (Spices and Herbs), CMN Indonesia (Plastic ware), PT Damai Karya Abadi (FMCG), PT Effa Cipta Sejahtera (Cinnamon), PT Gemah Alam Sejahtera (Spices), PT Fida First Indonesia (Spices and Copra), PT Herba Asa Nusa (Natural personal care products), PT Sinkona Indonesia Lestari (Essential Oils), PT Siantar Top, Tbk (FMCG), and PT Surabaya Indah Permai (Wellness Oils). These companies displayed an extensive range of high-quality products, including food and agricultural items, confectionery, herbal and wellness products, beauty and skincare items, and home and lifestyle goods.
The Consulate General of Indonesia extends heartfelt gratitude to Ecommerce Gateway Pakistan for organizing this influential event, which brought together global exhibitors to explore new opportunities and strengthen cross-border partnerships.
