Karachi: Governor Sindh Kamran Khan Tesori, while addressing a ceremony held at the Governor's House on the occasion of Sindh Culture Day, said that Sindh is a land that gives space to every nation, every civilization, and every culture. This is the land where Lal Shahbaz Qalandar, Sachal Sarmast, and Shah Abdul Latif Bhittai taught the lesson of peace, love, and tolerance. The Governor of Sindh said that the arrival of Muhammad Bin Qasim made Sindh the cradle of Islam, and the light of Islam spread in this region. He called Mohenjo-Daro a living example of the ancient and magnificent civilization of Sindh.
Speaking at the ceremony, Governor Kamran Khan Tesori extended heartfelt greetings to the entire nation and said: “Sindh Jai, Sindh Wara Jeein!” He described the day as a great celebration of Sindh’s love, culture, and civilization.
The Sindh Governor also spoke about the situation in the country and said that faith is related to certainty, and one should thank Allah Almighty in every situation. Referring to the incident of May 10, he said that Pakistan defeated a country five times more powerful than it; we are a victorious nation.
He appreciated the efforts of Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif and Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir for economic stability and said that Pakistan is now on the verge of development. The Sindh Governor also paid tribute to the sacrifices of the Pakistan Army soldiers against terrorism.
Talking about the public initiatives of the Governor's House, he said that 50 thousand children are being provided free IT education without discrimination, more than one million ration boxes have been distributed to the deserving, and a bell of hope has been installed to solve the problems of the people of Pakistan.
The Sindh Governor announced that the journey of service under the Governor's Initiative will continue, and Sindh Culture Day has been organized for the third consecutive year at the Governor's House.
