Karachi: Greenwich University has announced that its 17th Convocation will be held on Saturday, January 17, 2026, at 5:00 pm at the Sindh Governor House.
The announcement was made during a press conference at Greenwich University, where Chancellor Ms. Seema Mughal briefed media representatives about the ceremony. She welcomed journalists, thanked them for their continued support, and formally extended invitations to attend the event. She also outlined the programme details and highlighted the university’s vision behind the convocation.
This year’s ceremony will be held under the theme “Fasl-e-Gul”, aimed at projecting a positive image of Pakistan and motivating the youth toward growth, hope, and national pride.
According to the Chancellor, more than 500 students from undergraduate, graduate, and postgraduate disciplines will receive degrees during the ceremony. In recognition of academic excellence and co-curricular distinction, 25 graduating students will be awarded Gold Medals, sponsored by partnering industry organizations.
Degrees to be conferred include Associate, Undergraduate, Graduate, M.Phil., and Ph.D. qualifications. The university will also honor the parents of graduates in acknowledgement of their support and contribution to the students’ academic journeys.
Chancellor Seema Mughal reiterated Greenwich University’s commitment to empowering youth and strengthening Pakistan’s workforce through quality education, innovation, and holistic development.
