AI Education Drive Launched at Umeed-e-Ramadan Iftar in Karachi

 Karachi: The second Iftar gathering of “Umeed-e-Ramadan” was held at the historic Governor House Karachi, bringing together people from diverse walks of life in a spiritually uplifting and socially vibrant atmosphere.

The event was attended by distinguished guests including Yang Yundong and Fazil Jamili along with members of the Karachi Press Club governing body.

Addressing the gathering, Kamran Khan Tesori announced a major youth development initiative, stating that after Eid, 100,000 children will receive free Artificial Intelligence (AI) training, while IT institutes will be established in six districts of Sindh. He emphasized that the Governor House, once limited to officials and dignitaries, is now open to the public, symbolizing accessibility and inclusivity.

The Governor also shared views on regional and international developments, stating that Pakistan supports peace efforts in Gaza and that the Pakistan Army continues to play a vital role in regional stability. He further referred to global diplomatic engagement, including remarks about Donald Trump, and highlighted cooperation with Saudi Arabia as a sign of strong international partnerships.

The program began with the recitation of the Holy Quran, followed by Naat recitations and a special address on the spiritual significance of Ramadan by religious scholars. The proceedings were moderated by AK Memon and Maulana Muhammad Adeel.

As part of the event’s highlights, prize draws were held, including Umrah and plot announcements, while the Governor personally distributed cash Eid gifts among children. He reiterated that the doors of the Governor House remain open around the clock for citizens.

The gathering reflected a blend of spirituality, public engagement, and forward-looking initiatives, with particular emphasis on youth empowerment through technology and education.
