Nazar Hussain's play "Be Positive" to be screened at Awami Theatre Festival

 Karachi: The stage play “Be Positive” was presented on the tenth day of the ongoing Awami Theatre Festival 2026 at the Arts Council of Pakistan, Karachi, where it received an enthusiastic response from the audience. The performance took place at Auditorium II and drew a large number of theatre enthusiasts.

Written and directed by senior actor Nazar Hussain, the play featured strong performances by Shanzay, Billu Zareef, Honey Khan, Kamal Idrees, and Nasira Noor, who captivated the audience with their engaging acting and stage presence.

“Be Positive” is set in a closed street and revolves around characters who reflect the sweet and bitter realities of society. Through a light-hearted yet thought-provoking narrative, the play highlights social attitudes, human psychology, and everyday life issues, offering both entertainment and meaningful commentary.

It is worth noting that the Awami Theatre Festival, which commenced on January 22, will continue until February 15 at AC Auditorium II. All performances are open to the general public free of charge.
