Crown Cricket Club Clinches KNL Season 18 Title with Commanding Final Victory

 Karachi: Crown Cricket Club secured the championship of KNL Season 18 after defeating BTK Stars in a thrilling final at Naya Nazimabad Cricket Stadium.

Batting first, BTK Stars posted a total of 140 runs in their allotted overs. Sabzal contributed 26 runs, while Qurban Brohi added 25 to steady the innings. Crown Cricket Club’s bowling attack was led by Uzair Akbar, Jahanzeb Razak, and Saif Ali, who claimed two wickets each to restrict the opposition.

In response, Crown Cricket Club chased down the target with confidence. Saif Ali and Shahryar delivered match-winning half-centuries, guiding their side to a well-earned victory and the Season 18 title.

The closing ceremony was attended by special guests Ahmed Chauhan, Sheikh Sajid Karim, Sardar Kamran Khan, and Muhammad Feroz, who distributed trophies, medals, and prizes to the winning and runner-up teams.

Speaking on the occasion, Ahmed Chauhan and Sheikh Sajid Karim praised the performances of both sides, noting that victory and defeat are part of the game. They emphasized that young players possess immense potential and should be encouraged with greater opportunities and support.

BTK Stars captain Afif Ali Khan acknowledged his team’s strong effort but admitted the low total proved decisive. He expressed confidence that the team would learn from the defeat and return stronger in future competitions.
