Safari Train Hosts Memorable Cultural Tour for Scouts

 Karachi: A large delegation of Shaheen Scouts, Girl Guides, Boy Scouts, and Rover Scouts embarked on a memorable two-day cultural and educational journey aboard the Thar Desert Safari Train on February 14 and 15. The tour was led by Mehboob Hussain, Secretary of the Pakistan Railway Scouts Karachi District, under the auspices of Pakistan Railways.

During the visit, participants explored Army Resort Parch Joori, where they experienced traditional desert music, camel riding, and the distinctive attire and folk customs of the Thar region. The tour also included a journey from Marvi Station to Zero Point, where officers of the Pakistan Rangers briefed participants on the historical and strategic importance of the border area.

Throughout the journey across the Thar Desert, a lively folk music program inside the train added vibrant cultural color to the experience. Participants described the tour as an enriching opportunity to learn about desert life, regional traditions, and the realities of border communities, calling it a truly unforgettable cultural adventure.
