Top stars attend The Almarah Foundation fundraising gala in Karachi

 KARACHI: The Almarah Foundation, a prominent humanitarian organization dedicated to supporting orphaned and underprivileged children, hosted a grand Charity Dinner and Musical Night at the Marina Club, Karachi. The glittering fundraising gala united Pakistan’s leading celebrities, philanthropists, and business figures in support of the foundation’s nationwide welfare initiatives, including the “Feed the Hungry” and “Parent an Orphan” programs.

Graciously hosted by Dr. Danish Aman, the evening celebrated compassion and collective responsibility, drawing an impressive turnout of high-ranking officials, corporate leaders, and cultural icons. The guest list featured some of Pakistan’s most loved personalities Humayun Saeed, renowned actor and the foundation’s Goodwill Ambassador; Hamza Ali Abbasi, acclaimed actor and Brand Ambassador; Bushra Ansari, veteran performer; Muneeb Butt, television star; and Sophiya Warraich, Chairperson of the Almarah Foundation.

A highlight of the evening was a live charity auction, which featured cricket bats signed by members of the Pakistan National Cricket Team. Spirited bidding from Karachi’s business community raised substantial funds that will directly support the construction of new “Apna Ghar” shelter homes and the provision of daily meals for vulnerable communities.

Addressing the gathering, Dr. Danish Aman commended the generous spirit of attendees, saying, “The overwhelming success of this evening stands as a testament to the compassion and unity of our supporters. Every contribution tonight helps us bring hope to thousands of children across Pakistan.”

The event also drew the participation of senior government officials, police and army representatives, and leading members of civil society, marking it as one of Karachi’s most high-profile charity occasions of the year.

The Almarah Foundation currently supports over 275 orphaned children and provides daily meals to more than 1,000 individuals through its education, healthcare, and nutrition programs. The organization’s mission centers on nurturing and empowering vulnerable children, ensuring they receive both care and opportunity through its “Apna Ghar” initiative and comprehensive community outreach.
