Elegant Iftar Brings Diplomats and Business Leaders Together

 KARACHI: Diplomats, media representatives, and prominent business leaders gathered for the Marriott Ramadan Grand Majlis hosted at the Karachi Marriott Hotel, where an elegant and culturally immersive Iftar evening celebrated diversity and dialogue.

This year’s Grand Majlis embraced a Moroccan theme, transforming the venue with traditional lanterns, vibrant colors, and décor inspired by North African heritage. The setting offered guests a captivating cultural experience reflecting the spirit of Ramadan.

Attendees were treated to an elaborate spread of authentic Moroccan cuisine, including aromatic rice, tagine, couscous, and a selection of traditional desserts. The rich flavors and hospitality created a memorable evening for participants.

Diplomats from Germany and Ivory Coast appreciated the initiative, noting that such gatherings foster intercultural harmony and strengthen ties among nations. Participants highlighted that events like the Grand Majlis provide meaningful opportunities for dialogue, networking, and cultural exchange.

Speaking on the occasion, General Manager Raza Abbas said the purpose of hosting the Ramadan Grand Majlis annually is to bring together individuals from diverse backgrounds and celebrate cultural diversity through hospitality and shared traditions.

The evening concluded with a lucky draw, where exciting prizes were distributed among guests, adding a festive touch to the Ramadan celebration.
