KARACHI: In a compassionate initiative during the holy month of Ramadan, the Salahuddin Education Foundation distributed 200 ration bags among deserving and financially challenged students and their families at St Patrick’s High School Karachi to help ease the burden of rising living costs.

The distribution ceremony was organized in collaboration with the school administration with the aim of ensuring that students from underprivileged backgrounds can continue their education without the added stress of financial difficulties at home. Each ration bag contained essential food items to support families during the challenging economic situation.

Representatives of the Salahuddin Education Foundation emphasized that education and welfare must go hand in hand, noting that many talented students face hurdles in continuing their studies due to economic hardship. They said that initiatives like this are designed to provide relief and encouragement so that students can focus on their academic progress.

Speaking on the occasion, Fr Mario Rodrigues thanked the organizers and reaffirmed the commitment of the school and the Foundation to supporting education and social welfare within the community.
