Iqbal Advani Launches Ramadan Relief Camp for Affordable Chicken

By: Aziz Khatri

Karachi: A special relief camp offering chicken at subsidized rates was organized in Kharadar during the holy month of Ramadan through a joint effort of the Advani Foundation and the Kharadar Milad Committee. The initiative aimed to provide relief to low-income and middle-class families facing economic pressure due to rising inflation.

At the camp, citizens were provided chicken at prices lower than the market rate. A large number of residents benefited from the facility and appreciated the organizers for taking steps to support the community during Ramadan.

Speaking on the occasion, Iqbal Advani, Chairman of Advani Foundation, said that the lives of ordinary citizens have been severely affected by soaring inflation, making it difficult for many families to manage daily necessities. He noted that continuous increases in food prices have made it challenging for poor and middle-class households to arrange even two meals a day.

Iqbal Advani emphasized that Ramadan is a month of blessings, compassion, and generosity, and it is the responsibility of philanthropists and welfare organizations to step forward and assist those in need. He said the objective of organizing the subsidized chicken camp was to provide maximum relief to deserving families so they could better arrange Iftar meals during the holy month.

He further stated that Advani Foundation has always played a leading role in welfare activities and will continue such public service initiatives in the future. He added that if individuals and organizations with the means come forward to support the needy, many social challenges can be reduced.

The camp was successfully organized with the efforts of social figures including Yousuf Gaudt and Muhammad Amin, who contributed to the arrangements.

Citizens visiting the camp appreciated the initiative by Advani Foundation and Kharadar Milad Committee, noting that such welfare camps provide much-needed support in times of rising inflation. Many participants also urged that similar relief camps be organized in other areas of Karachi so that more deserving people could benefit from such initiatives.
