Karachi: Junaid Buland, Special Assistant to the Chief Minister of Sindh, held a meeting with officials at the DIG Traffic Karachi office to discuss initiatives aimed at promoting traffic awareness and road safety across the province.
During the session, participants deliberated on organizing traffic awareness classes in all technical colleges of Sindh. The proposal also included incorporating traffic rules and road safety education into the formal curriculum of technical education.
DIG Traffic Karachi welcomed the initiative, terming it a vital and effective step toward fostering responsible driving habits among the youth. He assured full cooperation from the traffic police and stated that dedicated awareness teams would soon begin conducting regular sessions in educational institutions.
He further noted that efforts are underway to formally integrate traffic education into the curriculum, aiming to build long-term awareness and promote safer road practices among students across the province.
